Little B-R-A-T-S anti-rattle spring installation

Can anyone give us instructions on how to install the brats anti-rattle Springs?[image][/ they are the large Springs not the little ones

The small double end with curve rests into the yoke of the connecting rod between the spindle arms. The long trailing rod ends ride in the back side of the axle channel. They work to try to take out the Ford's Shimmy Shimmy
Have seen axles where these were used, and the hardened spring steel rod ends groove the axle.

Here is the more common version, with hooks that cross over the connecting rod, these tighten up the spindle arm bolts, to keep wiggle down. They are on my '23 cutoff and have been there since so long ago, the spindle arm is worn to match!

The ones you have look like the APCO Anti-Shim pair. There were a similar kind with curled ends but I think they would attache the same way.

They should come with new tie rod pins and bushings, because within a few years after you install the anti-rattle springs, you will be replacing the pins and bushings.

If you have a shimmy, it is best to fix it rather than apply a band-aid to mask the problem.
