Anyone know of a qualified Model T engine rebuilder in Michigan? I have the engine down to the crank, cam, valves, pistons, etc. Could be absolutely fine the way it is, could be a hunk of junk. I am beyond my expertise in these areas and want someone to give it a once over.

Joe Bell comes to mind - I believe he's in the midwest.

I'm worried y'all are gonna run out of your stash of head gaskets for spec work and such. Then what? I think we tend to forget how serious this head gasket issue is. Could literally shut down a boatload of T's AND engine rebuilders.

It may take everyone running out of spare gaskets in order to get the ball rolling on actually finding a solution to the manufacturing of new gaskets.

Charlie Volkening in Gaylord comes highly recommended. I talked to him in Hamilton and got on his schedule next spring after gets home from Florida.
