Anyway, I've decided to move my '26 along. With my busy work season coming on, i won't be back in the garage until April '23.

You are not a member of MTFCA so you cannot independently post vehicles for sale. However, you can post an ad there with a nominal fee. I don't know the procedure.

Why are you not a member? Just Sayin!

I do not understand why non members are allowed to post anything on any forum. I am not bashing you at all but we pay for this club and should only be for members. Do not understand why the current board members allow this but ban or warn members.

My $0.02 rant,

Hank

Thanks for posting that Hank. I wholeheartedly agree. Annual dues are cheap and without everyone's support there would be no forum, classifieds, Magazine, etc.

And for the $0.03 rant.., WE must all support vendors and clubs, get YOUR butts involved or it all goes away! Where's the head gaskets like "Where's the beef"! If you think there are shortages now.., just wait and see in about 3-5 years!

God I feel Better!,

Hank

There is information in the pined post at the top about how to post an ad for non club members. Part of the reason for the $20 charge was as I recall, to get them to join for a little extra. This is not the only site that what and where you can post is limited. The VCCA forum site is the same way.

I just logged out of my profile to see if this site would let me post anywhere... it won’t! But the “New Topic” button is always there at the top. When pressed, it takes you to a login screen. After logging in, the site seems to allow me to post anywhere. I do not have a MTFCA number registered on the site... maybe I should go😢

Support comes in many forms, and chasing people away over a few dollars will have unmeasurable costs...

Kevin........you brought up some good points ! .... Please stay in the forum, your attributes have helped many of us, and I do hope that Professor Fate will reconsider and retain his car for the future..... There is a first time for everything including selling on the forum, none of us are perfect and knowledgeable of rules and regulations the first time around.

In case you didn’t know, non member’s usernames are printed in blue. Member’s usernames are printed in bold black. Jim Patrick

I did not know that Jim. I thought non MTFCA members were merely listed as ‘guests’. Thanks for the info 😁

Letting nonmembers post here helps get new people to join.

This is about posting ads to sell cars in that section, not about posting on the other forums which are open to registered people to post. Anyone that is logged in can post or ask questions in the car for sell section, but they have to be a member to post a "FREE" listing there, nonmembers it's $20 for the ad.

How does one become a non member/registered user? I don’t remember an option when I joined up. Just wondering

When you sign up you have the option of indicating you are a member of the MTFCA and putting your member number down.
If you are not a member of the club, you leave it blank.
The computer knows what is what.

Guest are simply people reading the forums that are not signed in or registered.

Undoubtedly it’s as simple as not entering your MTFCA/MTFCI number in your account settings. Some may simply choose to not input this information during account creation.

"I’m just wondering I pay my $40 a year and I receive the magazine does that make me a non-paying member.?"

Just makes you someone that has not added your number to your profile. Not sure how you would come up with the statement that you pay your dues and would be a non-paying member?
