What To Do In Dearborn This Tuesday Afternoon?

Post by George House » Wed Apr 17, 2019 3:27 pm

We’re landing at Dearborn Tuesday at noon. Spending Wednesday at THF, Thursday at Greenfield Village and Friday at Piquette. Recommendations for Tuesday afternoon? No car - Cabs only...
I don’t know why I turned out this way. My parents were decent people.

Henry Ford's Fairlane estate is a short drive from THF. Not sure if it will be open when you are there but you could probably walk the grounds. Edsel's home is also worth a visit.

George, are you staying at the Dearborn Inn? (Walking distance from the museum). Go to the Benson Ford Research Center!

George -- You might want to spend a few hours at the Benson Archives. It's quite a place, and right next to Greenfield Village.

OK, ok.... be it resolved - no cab; I’ll rent a car. No, Adam, not staying at Dearborn Inn this time. Stayed there w/ wife back in 2013. I’m footing the bill for my old friend and custom hay baler so close by $79 motel. Thanks for all the ideas.

Seamus works there. Maybe you can get him to demonstrate the big theater organ. :D
