Anybody interested in a third annual OCF MTFCA Forum Reunion ? We had a great time putting faces to names, seeing our Ts and, meeting. Let me know through the Forum and if there’s enough interest I’ll coordinate. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Marty and Dave, Sounds good to me, except that perhaps 4pm on Saturday would be better.

I stand corrected. Last year was Sat at 5. Keith has asked for 4.
What say the rest of you out there?

Majority rules on time slot and day. I’ll keep you posted.
PS: The fire engine may not be there this year.

It’s in Rusty Bergs shop.

Old Car Festival in Greenfield Village, in Dearborn Michigan. September 10 an d 11. The forum folks gather at the ball field and embarrass ourselves by mispronouncing last names. Hort-Ness, J-Elf, Boo Fah Leeny, Buh-Dough, ect.....

There are several locomotives at Greenfield Village. I think three of them are in regular service hauling visitors around the Village. #1 is Edison (1875), #3 is Torch Lake (1873), and #7 is Detroit & Lima Northern (1897), seen here passing by my car in 2019.

Yes, it will be good to see everyone again. Glad I'm not the only one that gets my last name pronounced wrong! I'll see if I can drag Rusty down to the meet with me.

Of the four or five that responded, it looks like 4 p.m. Saturday. I thought we’d meet on the Activities Field opposite the buildings.
Not a great response so for. Any other takers or should I cancel?
Only four more days.
I’ll check here daily.

Linguistics is such a fun subject!
In the "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" movie, I think my favorite line out of all of them, is---Indiana Jones: "Oh, *idiot*! In Latin Jehovah begins with an "I" !"
Thank you IMDb for the exact quote.
My wife is descended from Finnish. Try properly enunciating Hilma Gustava Heikintr Pyykölä
That was her great grandmother!
I wish I could go to the OCF!
