Speedster gauge panel

Post by t-time » Fri Aug 19, 2022 12:48 pm

Just finished the instrument panel for current speedster project. Cast face plate. Modified Dodge speedo, lever on right is the light switch, T handle on left is a pull-to-start.

That would be a good part for a speedster. it is not FORD correct, but a speedster does not need to be completely authentic.

Beautiful work!

Did you also make the T-handle and lever for the light switch?

If thats the quality of the dash panel, I would love to see pictures of the rest of the car. Nice job.

I'm with Warwick. I'd love to see the rest of the car. Attention to details like this make the car a stand-out.

T handle is a drawer pull and the lever is part of an old cabinet door latch

Mark, customers/likely clients would appreciate an earlier start to production. Perhaps tomorrow would appease them.

Looks like I’ve got some catching up to do. You can tell the Mercury dash has gone through a few changes in the last 100 years.
