Identify these parts

Can anyone identify these parts? They feel like they are like a tin material. There are 5 of them. They came with my 1916 T Touring.

If your windshield glass were to ever become loose, these retain it...screwed into bottom of upper frame ends, and top of lower frame ends.

I have those on my 26 holding the windshield in place.
