Great Tips from Dave Huson in Mile High Newsletter

Post by Scott_Conger » Fri Apr 19, 2019 3:57 pm

Many know Dave and while he rarely posts now, his knowledge of "T"s is pretty significant. I am sure newcomers to the hobby will benefit from some of his wisdom, as well as many of our longer-term members...enjoy:

Two comments:

Two of the rubber strap wrenches can be used for opening stubborn jars.

Glyptal is also known as red insulating varnish. When I bought some about a year and a half ago it was available from several sources, some of them MUCH less costly than others. It pays to shop around.

Scott, I got a "Page Not Found" with the link you posted. I found this link on their main page. It seems to work.

About 25 years ago I bought a Ruckstell from Dave. I drove from San Diego to Colorado and back with it. It is still in my car and still working.
