Wishing all the best to our friends in the path
I'm wishing all the best for our Model T friends in the path of hurricane Ian. Hope everyone remains safe and free from all harm and destruction.

Amen Perry.
This could be a bad one...all depends on the storm surge. Our church building committee has a member with a winter trailer in Bonita Springs...on the wrong side of the circulation, as I type, coming in as a Cat 4 storm. Plus, the little factory that built the last 2 lobster boats that I owned is in Coral Springs...straight in the path. Hope it survives too. Prayers to them all.

Yes it’s looking like there will be lots of damage. Prayers for the people in the area.
It’s quite a contrast to central Texas. We aren’t real close to the coast but usually we get a good amount of rain from coastal storms. Not so yet this year. Hadn’t been this dry in several years. We are dry as a bone, ground cracks you can brake an ankle in and the stock tanks and ponds are going dry and lots already have. We’ve had to sell part of our cattle herd already.
But it will begin raining someday.

Yup, here we go again. This one is like being stalked by a turtle, it’s moving so slow.

Expect the high winds and heavy rain tomorrow, if like Erma in 2017, we lost power for 3 days.
So the generator is ready, with 30 gal of gas, should be good. Run it only daylight hours to keep frig and freezer, well pump and septic lift working, along with the ceiling fans
