Side Curtains

Post by Original Smith » Wed Sep 28, 2022 4:59 pm

I'm working on a set of side curtains for my 1913 runabout. I've seen two different sets so far, which appear to have been made from originals, but don't know for sure. The point here is when you do something like that SAVE THE ORIGINALS! I would rather be using a tattered original than a copy.
Why? When a copy is made, usually, some of the original detail is omitted, not on purpose, but never the less gone forever.
I made a set for my '25 roadster years ago, and it was easy, because I had NOS originals to copy and the prints too. This time it is much more difficult.
Anyone who might have a set laying around, I would love to hear from you.
