Wiring Question

Here is a silly question from someone with no electrical skill:

Is there a technical difference between Model T spark plug wires and the rest of the wiring (Other than gauge)? If not, what gauge should the spark plug wires be?
I ask because I am making my own wires for a distributor, I will be using cloth braided wire.

Measure your distributor feed throughs ID for diameter (7 or 8mm) and order that specific diameter spark plug wire.

don't try to use "any old wire"...there are many proper, braided-cover spark plug wires out there available in bulk lengths

make sure they have a solid copper core and not graphite

if not available locally, the internet will be your friend

Thank you Mr. Conger, that's just what I needed to know.

The barbed wire adds a nice rustic touch.

When using custom spark plug wires it's nice to have a colorful variety of plugs.
