Early 1900’s Dallas parade featuring automobiles
Here is a early Dallas Texas parade with very early pre 1915 or earlier auto’s. Looks like a 09 T and early Autos’s. The way it looks it’s the cars that were the center of attention. With all the horse drawn carriages and buggy’s that are there the cars were unusual for lots of folks.

Doesn't look like it's raining. Maybe the ladies are using the umbrellas to shade from the sun? They still had a lot of horse drawn vehicles.

Hot sun, I'd guess. I can't tell where that location was, but it looks like there are some sort of spires or conical roof structures in the far distance and slightly to the right of the roadway. The 'Old" Dallas County Courthouse has a number of similar structures around the rooftop. It was built in the 1890s. If those are part of it, the street is probably the first or second street northeast/southeast east of the courthouse, which would be Commerce or Jackson, at a point well northeast of the courthouse.
