Where is the best remote location for the Sure-Stop Disc Brake fluid reservoir on a 1927 coupe?

I would like to see a photo of the master cylinder connection to the brake pedal.

On my 26 Tudor I placed it high on the drivers side of the firewall in the engine compartment close to the outer edge. Be sure it is low enough that the hood clears. The reservoir must be higher than the master cylinder. Brake pedal to master is pretty straight forward. I did fill the system from the calipers to the reservoir to be sure all air is expelled from the system. This is called a reverse fill technique .

Under the driver side seat.

Mount it above the master cylinder with no "roller coaster" bends in the line to trap air. I'd want it to be easily accessible, away from oil, high heat, and road splash, and mounted in such a way that any spilled fluid would drop straight to the ground rather than dripping on any painted surface.

How is the master cylinder attached to the brake pedal ? A picture would be helpful.

I hope someone can provide a photo showing how the master cylinder is attached to the brake pedal. A photo would be very helpful.

a tab must be welded onto the brake pedal...some vendors perform this operation for you as part of buying the kit. I have to believe that the instructions clearly detail how this is done, as it is critical for proper performance.

I tried it under my seat it didn’t work. You need some head pressure so you can help with the bleeding process. mine is now on the fire wall. And it works great!

The instructions do not clearly show the connection between the master cylinder and the brake pedal. It is hard to visualize how the forward motion of the pedal results in a backward motion of the master cylinder rod. It must be in how the clevis is attached to the pedal arm.

I sure would like a pic of the connection.

Do you have the extension that is put on the brake pedal on the brake pedal below the pedal shaft

No, I don't have that extension piece. Where would I send my pedal to get the piece welded to it?

This is what Lang's mentions: I would assume Texas T does the same if that's where you got it form
The kit only requires modifying the brake pedal to allow linkage for a master cylinder. We will need you to send in the appropriate brake pedal for your car for us to attach the tab for activating these brakes. The location of this tab is critical to the operation of the system and we cannot provide disc brake systems without this procedure. Once your order is placed, we will advise you where to send your brake pedal so that it can be modified and sent back with the brake kit.

I did this conversion not too long ago and started the discussion in the above referenced link where I supplied some good reference pictures. I wanted to keep my pedal original so tracked down another one in better shape to send in for the mod so here are the two pedals side by side for your reference.

I have 2 or 3 '26-'27 brake pedals need to check their condition both cam & shaft. I think they are good
