Not Much Has Changed at THF......
.....in the last 6 years Fordson #1 still is without a coil box and the 1914 touring still has 1917-1925 rear axle halves Oh well, it’ll be Greenfield Village tomorrow and Piquette on Friday...
I don’t know why I turned out this way. My parents were decent people.

You have a number one George? Very cool!
I have a second off the production line of another marque but a first is really neat.

Re: Not Much Has Changed at THF......
Yesterday I reported on The Henry Ford; today it’ll be Greenfield Village. There’s a 1/4 scale building representing a pre Piquette plant with a docent and the 15,000,000 Ford touring. Here is a picture of the front crossmember of a glossy black frame presented to the public...
Tomorrow - watch out Piquette !!!

Re: Not Much Has Changed at THF......
As promised, the last venue I visited in Detroit was the Piquette Plant. It blew me away! The antique automobiles were incredible - you can walk around them and even slide on your back under them. Just don’t touch! The docents are witty, very informative, humorous and knowledgeable. Souvenirs are reasonably priced. Quite a contrast to THF. They also have a mock-up mini assembly line. I suggested they donate an excellent T frame to Greenfield Village to replace the above pictured junk and I’ll somehow donate a replacement frame. MTFCI membership even reduces entry tickets to $5. Best entertainment for the money in town !!
