Vintage Speedster photo, Info request.

A guy wrote to me asking for information on his grandfather's speedster. This is him sitting in front of his shop in Jamaica, NY. I can't say much beyond that it looks like a pretty slick setup. Does anyone recognize if this is a commercially available body? Feel free to discuss.
