Is anyone still using Roger Lee's Hydraulic Technibrake Kit?
The selected Master Cylinder was from a 1978 Honda Accord and Clutch Master Cylinder, so that is still available.
The brake cylinders have never been identified and they need replacement now.
Does anyone have a source and part number for those cylinders or a replacement parts list?
The source of the small size brake drum is also unknown.

James, was it not "Technicore" brakes? I like the principle much better than the ugly great discs on offer. Cast iron drums would be an improvement.

I have a set on my 1915 roadster with a small drum rear axle. As previous mentioned, the master cylinder is 1978 Honda Accord clutch master cylinder. The wheel cylinders were custom made for the kit. If I remember correctly they use a 5/8ā wheel cylinder cup. A google search for 5/8ā wheel cylinder cups should produce several places to purchase new ones. I am not as familiar with the kit made for large drum rear axles, but I would imagine they also use a standard size wheel cylinder cup. The cast iron drums on the small drum kit were also made for the kit.
James, I see in your profile you have a 26 roadster, so Iām assuming you have a large drum kit?

Is the problem with the cylinder or pistons? White Post Restoration can resleeve the cylinders. There may be others that also can do it.

Save your wheel cylinders and send them to White Post restorations. They do a fantastic quality job resleeving. In the 1990s, they resleeved the master cylinder and four wheel cylinders for our 1950 Buick Special fastback four-door sedan.

I was slightly involved in that with Roger and my grandfather. The cyls were custom made as were the drums. They searched forever looking for parts that would fit and didn't find any.

A long time ago , Roger Lee told me that liability insurance would add 400. to the cost of his brakes. I think that all of Rogers parts concerning the brakes were sold to a friend in southeastern Massachusetts.
