Several of us had the opportunity to visit with Bill Scott in Kewanee, Illinois. Bill and his wife put on the Labor Day Model T rally for over 25 years in honor of his father in law Ray Behnke, who was an avid Model T and Model A parts collector. Ray died over 25 years ago, and the parts have been sitting in a series of sheds since then. The roof of one of the sheds has since fallen in, and Bill has taken on the job of cleaning out the sheds and finding new homes for the parts. Some of the parts are very rusty, due to the roof failure, but there are lots of nice parts remaining. What we saw were mostly black shell and later parts. Several complete engines. A neat, vintage engine stand. Lots of nice wheels, both wire and wood. Some wire wheel hubs. Lots of miscellaneous tools. A really nice pair of 26/27 touring rear fenders. A couple of piles of gas tanks, including 26/27 tanks. Some nice black shell fenders. A number of frame/axle assemblies in outside storage. Literally several tons of parts. We bought a modest pickup truck load of parts and I felt that Bill's prices were reasonable.

This is the Facebook post that Bill made

Feel free to facebook message Bill about his parts. I have his phone number, but I will not publish it publicly. PM me for the number.

It looks like home to me. Looking at other accumulations is always fun. I hope it gets to good homes.

That’s a T parts diggers paradise! Would love to take my time and go through it. Neat.
