Pan Replacement

Post by frontyboy » Mon Dec 05, 2022 11:18 pm

Want to change the pan on my '14 roadster. I have a 4 dip 26/27 pan to use. Will I have any issues with the exchange?

No- it will interchange with any 3 dip pan with no issues. Just don't let Larry Smith see it! Paint it black so it does not show.................

In reading about pan's sound like the 3 dip pan is stronger than the 4 dip
Since the '26 has a wider brake drum then wouldn't the pan and then the hogs head as well. And then pedal locations. If you don't have to replace the hogs head then as Dan said it will work... https://mtfca.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=12749

I had a 4 dipper and a narrow nose pan that both had issues, so a cut and shut and now I have a 4 dipper with a narrow nose on my 16.
