Actually I'm making an extra set for myself because I don't know how they will stand up to the tension of the repop springs. Probably not an issue but since I'm tooled up, nows the time to do it.

Lookin good Richard. I was going to recommend a collet block for the hex, but the nut trick worked well.

Collet block is a great tool. With so little hex cuts to make, the cost is pretty high. I don't have the right collects either. I'm happy you made the suggestion though. I may purchase one if the need arises again. Actually I may search eBay for a used one.

I got my collet blocks from Amazon pretty cheap. As long as we’re not doing Pharis-level work the import stuff is just fine. I already had 5C collets for my lathe. Love using collets, I’m sad when I have to use a chuck.

Measuring in Pharis’s may be subject to generational variations…
