Looks like an AA rear spring perch to me.

Bob;
I wrote the number down and will look in the Big Green parts book on Monday. It cover chassis parts from 1928 to 1947 for trucks and up to 1948 for cars.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas! :shock:

Bob it Looks to be the late 31 AA shackle hanger that fit on the rear axle for straight frame trucks.

I was thinking that the slight offset alignment of holes in the two lugs might suggest that a pair of these might have been designed to mount the reinforcing truss rods that you sometimes see on rear axle housings,....???
