What brand and type of paint do T-ers recommend? My 26 Coup is black with red spokes.

I'd recommend black for the body and red for the wheels. The problem is there are many reds and blacks. :)

You'll get a dozen different suggestions. So mine is PPG Concept. Excellent single stage paint. Talk to your local paint shop as well as auto paint supplier and take their advice.

Doing this on one of my other old cars. I think the trick is use several coats. Like 5 or more. Take your time and fill in the chip. I got my paint at O'Ryle's

A name brand single stage paint makes a nice paint job. Of course surface preparation is 90% of a good paint job no matter what type of paint you use.
