I was reading in a 1967 (!) Vintage Ford about an 1911 touring that was owned by Ray and Naomi Nelson.
Does (did?) anybody know Ray and Naomi, or any descendants, or their car? In 1967 they were in California.
Thanks,

Re: Still alive? Or descendants?
Keith, I'm new here, but I can't resist a good search. Have you seen this?
https://roadsterhouse.com/ray-nelson-car-collection
https://roadsterhouse.com/history-gallery
Apparently Ray used to loan his cars regularly to Hollywood for use in movies. The second link has a passage that says:
"Tom Sparks was one of the original early California hot rodders. After Ray Nelson died in 1974, Tom bought The Roadster House from Ray's wife, Naomi in 1978, exchanging steam cars for hopped Up 32 Fords."
It looks like Tom in turn sold the house (and the collection? not entirely clear from the website) to a musician couple, the Steeles. There's contact info for them on the site.
If you're looking for Nelson relatives in particular, I can try digging on Ancestry.
Best,
Eric

Check with Pete Eastwod. I recall that Ray was an LA area guy. Pete would remember. Pretty sure we purchased a set of EMF headlights from him way back when.

That’s some really great stuff. Nothing like a house with good documented history. Love the Swap meet in their back yard.

Cool stuff, Eric. Now I need to find out about the other 1911 with california Horseless Carriage plates 1636. I wonder if it is the same car?
Is the 1909 with Nevada plates 18, #220?
