Mel, I don't know if a 15 pinion bearing is different than a 26 but I have 2 26 T's that have a cartridge pinion bearing. The roadster has about 50,000 miles on it and the touring I just put it into. The roadster has been trouble free, I really like it or I wouldn't have put in a second one.

If your referring to the ones designed and first manufactured by Fun Projects your on a winner!
John advised me to purchase the standard version (without all the Shims) and in my opinion is a great upgrade
for your Differential. Install one of those, Brass Thrust Washers on the side carrier and the longer Axles and you will travel
trouble free for years and years. I also use Safety Hubs outboard also.

It's the FP bearing every time for me.

There are great differences between 1915 and 1926 at that point. Will they make any difference to the FP conversion ?

The difference between the 1915 and 1926 FP bearings is the housing that contains them. Both types are available. The other choice is between adjustable and non-adjustable. I was told by a VERY knowledgeable source that the adjustable type is for folks who think they need to have something to adjust, and that the non-adjustable version is quite adequate.

I have genuine Ford pinion bearings in all of my cars, and they don't need to be modified to anything else. Ford had it right.

Agree with using Ford parts if you can find nos or close roller bearings. Reason for making the new set up is the difficulty in finging decent bearings. I was lucky enough to find 4 nos ones years ago and have just now used them up on my cars.
