Was wondering if anyone knows if Straw paint color was used for wire wheels on a 1926 Coupe.
If it was, would anyone knows what the color formula is to mix the paint. Also was the 26 body painted with
enamel or Acrylic Lacquer? Thanks.

Not sure about these charts

The MTFCA Encyclopedia has a nice article on paint. 26-27 T's had bodies painted with pyroxylin paint, not enamel or lacquer. Pyroxylin paint did not stand up to time, nobody really knows what the actual colors are. There are best guesses for paint colors, and some paint codes are published in the encyclopedia, but again, they are a guess. Regarding colors of wire wheels for the coupe, all wire wheels installed at the factory were painted black. Dealers had wire wheels available for swapping or for sale, color choices were red, straw, green, and black.

I don't know if the cars only come from the factory with only black wire wheels is correct, but the parts books give the options when buying them as, black, red, green, or straw color,
Parts books only list genuine Ford parts not dealership options.
