Here a neat photo supposedly taken in 1907. So which Ford is it being advertised.

I think it’s newer than 1907 and that’s a Model T. The rear axle looks 1914 or earlier

Looks like a 1913 or 1914 to me.

The pic was from a Tennessee oriented website and had a 1907 date with it. It looked like later than a 1907 Ford to me too. A lot of weight was added to the car. Probably close to 2000 lbs overall.

I did a little digging and found that the Clark Auto Company later became the Dawson Ford Motor Company in Dawson, Georgia. "Pictured are: Top Front: Bob Harden, mechanic; Center Left: Tom Cobb, salesman; Center Right: Samuel D. Clark, owner of company; and Top Rear: Lew Newton, mechanic."
All sources stuck with the obviously mistaken 1907 date.

Not sure what this might indicate to help with identification of chassis, but it appears to have a very tall filler neck on radiator, and also a tie rod between rear running board supports,.....???

And a closer look at the front it’s showing the cotton bale supports next to the radiator. They must have been attached to the lower frame. At first glance it looks like they were attached to the radiator but that sure wouldn’t work!

I don't claim to know much about US history, but my understanding of Dawson, Terrell County, in the early 1900's suggests the Clark Auto Co. was probably not a large concern?

Per Rich's research it would seem Samuel Clark (or his successor) sold the company in 1927, probably a good time given what was coming in a couple of years! Anyway in terms of dating the photograph and thence the car a little better I see that the Dawson News has been operating from 1889 to the present (ref Library of Congress here: https://loc.gov/item/sn89053283), and that back copies may be available at the University of Georgia. Perhaps if someone nearby was looking for something to do on a rainy afternoon they could call in and look at the microfiche to see if it's possible to get a better idea of what this is about...

Otherwise I found that a Samuel D Clark was born in GA circa late 1879 or early 1880 and that he spent much of his life nearby Dawson, although I can find no direct reference at this point. A bit hard to tell with the quality of the photo/image, but he may have somewhat of an enlightened man at the time, if what I can tell of Bob Harden is correct?

Looks like a 1914 "chassis" Date of photo could be 1917 instead of 1907

One thing, at least the horn is mounted correctly!! And that said, it also looks to be black and brass, definitely either a '13 or '14 chassis in my book. Cool photo. Thanks for posting it
