Searching the forums on how to rebuild my starter brush plate I see mention of generator and starter brush plate rebuilding CD, where do I find this video or buy the CD?

here is how I do the rebuild of the brushplates.
First all must be clean.
Turn the brushplate up side down to see the riveted parts of the brush holders.
With a 2.5mm drill, I first drill in the center of the reveted part all the way through the brush holder.
After this you need to eliminate the rivet part and the rivets holding the insulation.
As all is seperated tap with a M3mm tap tread in the 2.5mm holes in the brush holders.
You will find two brush holders with a plate fixed to the holder. This are the ground brush holders.
The other two have the plate at the underside of the insulation.
To assemble the brush holder on the plate you need eight 3mm screws with a conic head 12mm long,
eight 4mm where the screw head sink in and some loctite.
First fix the insulation on the plate . I use usual 3.5mm rivets for that, the split rivets for the transmission band do a fine job too.
Than screw the two ground brush holders on the plate with loctite.
Now you can build the current brush holder to the plate.
