Nice drive in great weather!!
Stopped at Mattis tavern 1886.

A stop in Los Alamos at the Antique shop then lunch at Charlie’s.

Fun tour! Weather is outstanding.

The Wisteria is pretty, but it grows like a weed, even more aggressive than honeysuckle, IMO. It sends runners along the ground and tendrils in the air that will wrap around any tree branches they touch.

Just the way I’d want it to grow. The more the better! Such a beautiful plant and the smell is simply amazing.

I have a huge one growing up a pole that basically knocked a mercury light off the pole.
AKA wandering trumpet vine, yes grows like a weed. Blooms late around here, but I have seen several hummingbirds at a time feeding on the big orange/red flowers.

WOW Another great California Dreaming Tour!! Thanks Kirk for the posting. The Mendenhall museum is really the most mazing collection of gas signs and pump stuff Plus!! you could ever imagine. It has to be a world record of some kind. They also have an amazing collection of salt flat record breaking speed cars and a wonderful collection of Hall of Fame Speed memorabilia. Many held by the Mendenthall's

The tour ended yesterday and everyone is headed back home either last night after the banquet or early this morning. There were 3 guys that drove their cars from SoCal to the tour and are on their way back home now. That's about a 200 mile run in some sort of not nice traffic as they get close to home in Orange County. Dave Seiler, Wood Spoke shop, Sonny Bishop, Montana 500 fame, and John Bothwell in his flawless '15 touring.
The meals were absolutely beyond description in how good they were and it seemed like everyone was awarded with something to take home.

I have to mention a young amazing gal whose Picup is shown in the thread above with the white wall tires. Her name is Barbara Beach from Saratoga, Ca. I saw her driving by herself on the tour but first met her when I was walking by a fellow club member trying to repair his blown out muffler and saw her legs sticking out from under Johns car. Her 26/27 T pick up is a nearly finished work in progress that she has been doing a most professional job in restoring. Her first experience with a model T was a ride in a TT and from then on she was Hooked and had to have one for herself. Barbara and her Dad have both worked for Ford Motors for many years. She maintains the T and drives it by herself on tours like an old professional. When I asked her about the car she began with how she rebuilt the motor in the detail of a seasoned mechanic and went on to say about every Winter she completes another project with the supervision of her Father, a paint supervisor type at Ford. She has the bed nearly completed to match the Perfect body and the rest of the car. It was a rewarding experience to just talk to her a few moments about her T. I was so excited to give her a special award from Mothers of a 5 Gallon bucket full of car care products. I know she'll be the one to being using them as well!!
