Barn find

Post by AndreFordT » Tue Jan 24, 2023 9:36 am

Hey all,
I just found this in a barn.
Can someone help me to identify it and maybe put a value on it.
I think the frame is 1926/27.

Thanks.

This will be fun to watch. Wonder what the motor is? Can't see enough of the crankcase.

It's not exactly like it, however the motor does have some similarities to a 18/24 Springuel:

It's a complete guess from me, it's difficult to be certain from just a few low-res images, but perhaps someone else with more experience will recognise it straight away...

That is a strange engine André, does it use the T transmission ? Seems like it in the picture with the chassis. Early overhead valve, Peugeot maybe? Looks French in a way :?:
When in trouble, do not fear, blame the second engineer ! 8-)
