We got reinforcements !!
In more ways than one ! Looks like the rear seat in this 1913 touring is holding up well under stress !

I would love to see a 'after' picture of the rear door sill
When in trouble, do not fear, blame the second engineer !

Re: We got reinforcements !!
The rear door sills may be ok, especially if both versions of the “FIX” have been installed. I have the version installed in my 13 that fits inside the body and below the door. I also have the extra fame mounting attachment. I feel fairly confident!

Re: We got reinforcements !!
Have you ever noticed that many pictures of Model T's show them packed with people....was that a thing?

Re: We got reinforcements !!
The great number of period photos showing large groups of people in, on, and surrounding Model Ts is indeed, evidence that it was indeed "a thing", although I'm pretty sure each gathering was a spontaneous and independent event. I guess there's "something" about a Model T that invites it ?? Like taking pictures of a person straddling the hood or sitting on the front fenders.
I'd say a "thing", but not a fad, like swallowing goldfish or cramming Volkswagen beetles, or flash mobs in later decades.

Re: We got reinforcements !!
I suspect that dealers, not only Ford, took those pictures to boast about their product's durability. College kids sought how many souls they could crowd on a car much like stuffing a phone booth. Others just wanted to get a whole gang on the "New Car".
