Lifting Hooks

Post by Dan Hatch » Sat Jan 28, 2023 5:00 pm

I was cleaning out things and found this. Thought someone may want to make a set. They are the cats meow when it comes to lifting a T.

R.V. Anderson was tooling up to offer both the front and rear versions of these when he passed away. I picked up the prototype set from him at Hershey last year. Here are pics of the prototypes. I don't know if any of the vendors who picked up his products plan to introduce them.

With engine pans, the front design would not work. I wish I had the rear lifting rig when I removed the rear axle from my car

Liability concerns might doom any commercial offering.

I have an original set for the front, but never used them.

I spoke to R.V. At Hershey and got on the list for a set. If someone would take over the project I'd be interested and gladly sign any waiver of liability they proffered!

I saw the ones RV made at Hershey, but there were none in his shop after he passed, and I didn't find any parts or drawings. Maybe Don Lang found something related to the project when he was in RV's shop.
