Awesome. That thing is fast. Great video. Peter is going to have 100 miles on that car before you get it back. Then it will be a used car instead of a new one.

Looking fantastic! Sounding incredible! Some paint, not exactly a lot of upholstery. Oh boy!

Another video, taken from the passenger seat. The racer is running a little rich, but Pete said they were going over 50 mph in a little over two blocks. Looks like 3:1 gears aren't too tall:

Thanks guys. Steve, we hope to make the Speedster Reunion. If so, it'll be the only 300 cubic inch stock Ford. Hope to see you there.

That is so very, very cool.

I consider myself someone who's just messing around the fringes of the Model T hobby when I look at you guys working with these magnifent machines.

Don

Don't kid your self, you are not on the fringe...putting an original T back on the road is at the HEART of the Hobby, and you are right there in the middle of it. Putting a "1 of 2" special back on the road is what's on the fringe, albeit a pretty freaking fabulous fringe!

I guess it’s just semantics Scott.

But you’re right..if Rob is on the fringe, then it’s a wonderful, beautiful, magnificent fringe.

Thanks guys. I all Fords. Henry Ford and the people he surrounded himself with were innovators and pioneers who built an incredible organization and changed the world along the way. It seems FMC came out with industry changing cars and racers every few years through the first thirty or so years the company existed, with the Model T leading the way.

Hey Rob, is there another thread about this car? Would love to hear more details on the engine and what the end goal is for the car. If there’s not another thread would you post that here? Thanks!

Edit: lol nevermind, I found it.

Meant to say "I like all Fords......."
