Here’s a few pics of a 13 Speedster at the Savoy Auto Museum. I’ve seen the Rajo head a few times. Has anyone run a T with a Rajo head? What kind of performance differences are associated once one is installed? Curious about the specs of the impact it has.

Do you have a photo of the spare tire mount? Need to build one for my speedster, looking for ideas.

This is the only pic I have of the spare tire. Don’t know if it’ll give you enough information.

Re: 13T - Speederster with Rajo head
Hi Darin. This is the rack I made for my Speedster years ago. It's a piece of flat bar curved to fit the rim. Two angles are bolted to the top of the frame and one ear bent to bolt to the back of the rear cross member. Another piece of angle holds the license plate. I just welded bolts for the lug plates.
Just one idea.
Rich
If I were to build one today, I would make it riveted construction rather than welding to look more authentic.Just one idea.
Rich
When did I do that?

Re: 13T - Speedster with Rajo head
Darin - I run a Rajo Model 30 head on my 1919 speedster. Also runs with no magneto, Texas T distributor, and a Stromberg RF carb. I've had it up to 65 mph with throttle to spare.
If you do a Google search on "rajo mtfca forum" you'll get a wealth of information on Rajo heads and the experiences that folks have had with them. I attached a PDF with some great information on several different overheads that were made for Model Ts.
