I'm in Harnett Co. How far is it to Tulare Co.? When one advertises something and the location, it would help the indicate the State.

Sorry, I should have indicated the state, it's California. Tulare county is located in the southern portion of the Central Valley.

Re: Tulare co. Fairgrounds swap meet
For anyone that may not know, Tulare County is in the state of California in the United States of America. Tulare County is near Fresno (city) in the Eastern half near the middle of California.
The Tulare County Swap Meet is widely known in the hobby in spite of only being done for a very short time because of the uproar caused by the closing down of the long running and very important Bakersfield Swap Meet during the Covid closures. The Bakersfield Swap Meet was very special in that it was intended to meet the needs of real antique automobiles and their caretakers. Between problems of the aging out of the club members that had been running the meet for years, and some issues with the site it had been held at, coupled with the problems of the Covid closures, the clubs that had run the meet for years decided to end it.
Several people, individuals and groups, wanted to pick up the mantle and replace the longtime meet. There were issues, several problems, and an uproar that echoed loudly through much of the hobby! Sadly, there were hurt feelings (fully understandable!), and still some resentment remaining.
It is time to go and get together, see old friends! And find those special parts we need for our special automobiles!
