Chickasha Leg Lamp
Didn’t quite expect to see this Leg at Chickasha, especially at 50 ft tall, but here it is. You can see the south building in the background and you can also see the Leg from the fairgrounds.

Maybe should have parked a T next to it so we know you were there.

How charming...
I'm sure the residents of Chickasha are very proud of it.

Re: Chickasha Leg Lamp
It occurs to me that some may not have seen the classic film that inspired Chickasha's major art work.

I don’t think we ever saw this movie and we’ve seen as many movies as everybody and especially the the older movies. I was wondering why there wasn’t many follow up posts about the leg lamp. The movie is OK from what I’ve seen. To each their own.

It is a hoot. One of my favorites. Pete Billingsley is over fifty now, and people still come up to him and recite their favorite lines.

Those people in Oklahoma must have a weird view of art.

It’s one of the movies I quote all the time. Like when Ralphie wanted a BB gun and everybody told hime he would shoot his eye out.

Re: Chickasha Leg Lamp
Having the old car bodies at the fight scene added some delight for me. I can only imagine the wonderful character who may have been restoring model As.
When did I do that?

Re: Chickasha Leg Lamp
I used that line on some Marines in an armored unit who were displaying a tank.
"You guys are gonna shoot someone's eye out!" and they just laughed.
That movie was HILARIOUS!
