1912 Torpedo auction on BaT
Less than 24 hours to go on this auction. Looks like a nice car, and seems like a pretty low current bid:

Well if there's no reserve on it and I couldn't see where it mentioned it, yep looks like someone's gonna get a nice car cheap. However, sometimes these auctions do go down to the wire with a bidding war and all of a sudden...hold onto your wallet! I do like the style of my '11 Torpedo better though. Love the "shortie" runningboards it has, and I am now used to the super slanted bottom portion of the windshield. Seems to give it more of a "sports car" look than the '12 does.

It just may have a reserve after all. When I clicked on the "Denwerks" name on the right column, their page came up with a listing of past auctions, and one didn't mention a reserve, then a bunch said "no reserve", so lacking those words here, I suspect it has one. Be stupid of them not to!

Its a nice car but not all 1912 so....
"This 1912 Ford Model T is a Torpedo Runabout that was refurbished prior to the current owner’s purchase in 1994. The car was subsequently refinished in blue, and power is from a 177ci inline-four linked to a two-speed planetary-gear transmission and a two-speed Ruckstell rear axle. Features include Rocky Mountain brakes, "

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Bringatrailer.com does a great job of showing lots of good pictures. It's one of my favorites.
What a nice Torpedo.
Thanks for posting it.

The 26 truck on BAT looks like the one from John Lemon’s collection. Pics are still on the form in the vehicle section. the last post was in February of 2021.
