I am looking for pictures of the seat back upholstery on a 19 roadster. I am especially interested in the area of the arm rests and where the body dips down from the top bow saddle bracket to the arm rest. I want to know how close the upholstery follows the body contour. Inside and outside views with the top up would be great. If anyone has a roadster of this style I sure would appreciate some photos. The upholstery I did on my 15 touring and 08 sr follow the body contour very closely, but the kit that came with this project seems to a hopeless effort, padding too stiff and just not enough lateral length to cover the arm rest and keep the pleats nice and vertical. Before I buy a seat back from Clastique. I want to make sure it is not total operator error. By the way this is a cartouche kit, but is probably 20 years old.
Thanks Van

Re: 19 roadster seat back upholstery
still looking for some pictures. Don't want to start an upholstery brand discussion, just want to see what I am shooting for as far as pleat alignment and contour to the body.
Thanks

Here are some pictures that might help from the Mercury News.

David Sosnoski's photos on this thread show and original '19 Touring.

About a quarter of the way down. Details should be same as runabout.
