Please help identify this steering column (#1) and the vehicle it was used on.

Length of column tube is ~ 46 inches.
Spark and throttle levers are about 11 inches down the column from the steering wheel spiders.
Part number 344253 and a 4 with a (triangle K) proof mark are cast-in-place on the gearbox housing.

Thanks in advance for your help. Tony

Looks to me like late 20's Chevy four cylinder open car, like in this '25 Touring. Not my photo, pulled it from the web-ernet.

That rod setup is strange, I have never seen it besides your column and the photo I found. Wonder if there are any Chevy people amongst us brave enough to make themselves known and share some knowledge?

Shannon, that will probably be the only time I beat a Texan in a draw!

I have a Chevy frame with the steering box and column still attached and it has those levers and dash bracket and that is why I recognized them. That is about the extent of my early Chevy knowledge...

Thank you for the replies.

I think Tadpole and Shannon have it right, being a 1925 (+/-) Chevy Steering column. Thank you again for your replies!

5WW and Speedyt, thank you for the humor and suggestion.

PS: 5WW, I'll post the 2nd steering column in a bit. ;-). MT5.
