Amp meter
Langs doesn't have an amp meter. Mine is sticking. Is there a way to clean it? or somewhere else to get one?

Re: Amp meter
So you’re needing the larger diameter ammeter that is, unfortunately, not being reproduced Go up to the top of this site to Board Index and find Classified Parts. List your need for an ammeter for a ‘24 coupe. You’ll get responses there

Re: Amp meter
The internal movement is a rather delicate mechanism. The question is why is it sticking.

Re: Amp meter
A 20-0-20 ampere meter can be found on early tractors. Ever think about looking at those who enjoy old tractors?

Re: Amp meter
If you need an ammeter, you probably need the switch and other parts as well!
The most likely part to be bad is the cylinder the key turns.
That part is usually broken on the top or bottom of the key slot.
They are not being manufactured now.

Re: Amp meter
Bill, my T has an ammeter that I believe is like yours. When it gets sticky, I remove the back of it and spray it real good with starting fluid. Let it dry, reassemble, and it's good for another 5 or 6 years. Electronic parts cleaner would probably work also, but I never seem to have any around.
