Seat back question.

Post by Mopar_man » Mon Mar 27, 2023 8:55 pm

So I want to make sure I get the layering correct. Got my kit from Classtique ( a very well made kit!!). For a 26 touring. Starting from the vinyl to the springs for the front seat back.

1. Vinyl this has a layer of cotton and then burlap secured with the buttons that are on the rear of the seat.

2. Next 2 layers of cotton that was marked front.

3. burlap.

4. seat springs.

Then I hog ring the seat springs to the burlap and hang the springs from the top rail of the front seat. lay on the cotton and then the vinyl and start stapling. Seems simple. I've watched the videos as well.
