When I get those symbols it usually means the image I am trying to post is too big and needs to be scaled down some.

Same here and for some reason it happens like 80% of the time...I do almost all my photo posting from the phone as it's just easier, except any more even before I post I go into "edit" and crop out all that I feel isn't necessary without spoiling the intention of the pic. I've had to cut out a lot of nice "blue sky scenery" etc. in order to eliminate that stupid yellow triangle. And I thought when this platform went into effect "size didn't matter"!?!

I shoot my pictures at the maximum possible file size to have the best resolution and detail. Very occasionally, I get the dreaded yellow triangle when I post a photo. I've found that if I reduce the size at all, even if it's only by one pixel, the photo will post. I don't understand that, but it works for me.

I keep original photos as they came from the camera. If I want to edit one, I copy it and edit the copy so I still have the original if I happen to need it. Most pictures can be improved by cropping, even if it's only reducing the amount of sky or foreground.
