I like to prime it with the crank and then get in and use the starter. The priming saves the battery and starting from the inside gives me time to advance the spark and turn the switch to mag quickly after it first sputters.

That’s a live concert by the Stanley Brothers, Carter and Ralph….late 1950’s I believe. Ralph did part of the sound track in the movie O’ Brother where art thou. He sang Oh Death during the Klan scene. I can’t remember the guys name who’s doing the T sounds, I’ve got it here somewhere.

I was going to clean all the connections from the battery forward on mine, but that sounds like maybe it's normal!

Is there anyone in here who is a longtime member of the Noken T's. I was on one of their tours a good while ago and at an evening supper/get-together that song came across on the P.A. system. We all got a kick out of it, mainly because we had all been in the same "udn-udn" situation at least once. I was told that the song was sung by one of their club members named Bud Scudder. Can anyone from the Noken T's verify this?
