Spring is in bloom here in the south and Luray is right around the corner! The folks in the Shenandoah Valley Racket T'ers along with the MTFCI thought "Hey, what better way to enhance the swap meet than by adding a few days of touring after the meet"? Well, that's exactly what we did. So, load up your Model T, piled high with all your spare parts, and come to Luray for five fun-filled days of old cars, parts, and mountain scenery!

Speaking of the swap meet, we have almost 90 spaces occupied with dealers from 17 different states. We have Dave Simmering bringing brass era parts Andy Wise bringing band and clutch linings. Dave Nolting is bringing his transmission components and Terry Bond is bringing his impressive display of early brass lamps and literature. Jon Anderson is bringing a slew of things, most notably his steam-bent bows and other wood items you need for your restoration. The "Coil Doctor", Brent Mize will be there and so will Tom Strickling with a slew of "T" parts. I also heard that there will be one guy selling a few Maxwell 2-cylinder parts. ;) Dan Hatch is coming with trailer loads of good stuff, and Don Lang is making the run down From Massachusetts with a trailer full of fun stuff. This is just a few of the people that are headed to Luray in May!

Let's not forget the Tour which will be held Sunday through Tuesday! What better way to experience the Shenandoah and Page Valley's than behind the wheel of a Model T. There will be car museums, caverns, covered bridges, “Cooters Garage” from Dukes of Hazzard, Civil War battlefields and more. Three days of touring are planned with each day taking you in a different direction. You won't want to miss this!

This is an MTFCI sanctioned event and is limited to Model T’s only. Tour capacity is limited to the first 50 cars.

Two weeks from this Friday!! I am hearing great things about the number of vendor spaces sold and what all is going to show up. I just heard thru the grapevine today that a complete 1916 Studebaker touring needing restoration will be there for sale. Not a model T but hey, might be just be the perfect project for somebody.
