I’m not a nit picker. It’s correct enough and if it goes for the catalog estimate 14-18k it’s a good buy.

The auction listing said it was acquired from Peter Eastwood in 2000.

It's too bad that, for having been fully restored, someone stripped parts off it. Missing at least the coil box and speedometer, and that was just at first glance.

Someone's going to have to put some time and money back into it, red or not.

More details from the auction information; "there are no manifolds, and while painted, the condition of the engine is unknown."

few Model T Fords are ever "Fully restored" hey are actually "rebuilt"/ Yes I know there have been many that meet our standard for "restored", but it is very diffacult to paint (finish") a wood body 1909-1911 Model T. Paint was not used, they were varnished and you could see the wood grain under the varnish. Also the chasis is often over done. where are the runs and drips that were there when the car was new? I am not complaining, I wish my 1910 was "over done"- I could then let it age abit so it looked as it did when new.

It's not only paint that was imperfect. Sometimes you see glitches in upholstery, and I've even seen nuts with the holes off center.

Be interesting to see where it ends up with...I've seen open valve engines only with a box of 'other stuff' included go for the opening amount, stuff like this doesn't come around all that often!

My guess is that the pricing is a bit of a teaser...even the final guesstimate price...we shall see, eh? For a car that early its shipping invoice paperwork should still exist?


I must be getting old...but for some reason I HAVE seen this very car in its early 'restored' condition...a long, long time ago. Dunno why that matters, just struck me the very second I saw the photo...lol

Well hopefully someone here bought the 09, if they did they got a smoking deal 26k plus the juice (12%). Unfortunately it appears they sold the five ball in another lot as well as other parts totaling about another 10k. It will not take much to get this beautiful T up to its former glory and running hopefully.
