Has anyone ever encountered this type of grease cap? I am assuming that it is an old accessory and not something currently manufactured. Dan

I picked up some of that style thinking they could be rebuilt & used over & over again. Unfortuneatly all the ones I picked up are for late
axles & the ones I'm working on are early. My thought was they would not come loose like the Ford ones do. Then someone asked my if I
was putting the felt in between the cap & hub. Da I had never taken a rear end apart that had them. It makes sence to me thats why there
is a groove on the inside of the hub for it to fit in.
