As I have not done any metal cutting and welding in a REALLY long time, I sent my Centerdoor front quarters to a local restoration shop for patching.

I explained these were 100 years old and cannot be had commercially.

I hope it goes well ! I assume you didn't opt for a "pig in a poke". If the shop has a good reputation and you're acquainted with the work they do, all will be well. Even better if they'll work with you so you can provide any necessary oversight.
