Patina’ed hood

How cool is that! It’s a low hood. I found it gathering some T parts out of an old barn.

Duncan and Fraser, Ford distributors in Adelaide, South Australia, used to signwrite the hoods on the commercial bodied cars they sold. They featured a large Ford script and ! ton truck for TT's and 10 CWT lorry for car based flat top trays. 10 CWT is the abbreviated form of 10 hundredweight, or half ton. My son has one of these. We kept the original to panels of the hood for others to copy.

Don, that is really a neat thing to find. You must have hit the mother lode in that barn!
