Although been following this forum for quite some time have been making too many post. Anyhow I ran across some photos I had grabbed from the antique engine forum I frequent daily. Thought they might be enjoyed here although they may have already appeared here in the past. The 2 garage shots are very interesting. Some neat things to be seen if you look close. Enjoy.

Looks like a 26-27 touring in the second pic, judging by the back window.
An HCCT on the bench.

In picture 1 I see an engine on the hoist without the pan. Did they pull the engine out of the car that way? I was wondering if there was enough room to do that. Have any of you good folks tried that?

To get the engine put of my 09 you have to remove the firewall & windshield and have the option of leaving the pan in situ. We don't see the car that engine came from.

Great photograph!
Very fine detail, please post more of these.
The plate appears to be "3-148 DC 1919"

A hundred years sure goes by in a hurry

The first photo reminds me of a Buster Keaton film. Buster had an engine on a trolley-mounted hoist like that. It repeatedly got away from him and wrecked the innocent bystander, a nice Pierce Arrow.

Heres another of a parts dept. probably at a dealership. Notice the waiting area to the right.

Oh look at all those goodies !!
I think it's just a parts store...
No Ford signage, the cash register counter has a Stromberg ad for all makes.
Ford, DB and Chevrolet on the rubber sign above the Hyatt bearings...
Pretty cool grill on the radiator shell too.
