This Sunday Deacon Sherman gave me this belt buckle.

What year was this? There is no year anywhere on the buckle. The two banners in the upper left and right sat Business and Pleasure respectively.

Cool! I've always wanted to drive one of my T's to church but hate to leave 'em unattended...not greatest of neighborhoods.

Tim

just hang a "help wanted" sign on the T when parked.

No one will come anywhere near it.

I think this buckle is a modern fantasy piece. Look at the details of the pictured car. It is glaringly unlike a real Ford, obviously not drawn from one, or from a photo of one.

Yes,I have 2 of those buckles with the "T" on them
and all though it is a different car and different anle, I Have 1 that has Packard and 1 with Rolls Royce that show the same car on both of them ,Just late 60's 70's stuff.

I have one of those also. It was given to me when I purchased my first pile of model T parts that is now my speedster from my brother-in-law
I think he said it was given to by his dad when he got his first model T. Mine has seen more use than this one, I'm sure it's not a ford item as
belts were not usualy that wide until about the the 60's. And it has no Ford script on it. It is one of those fun things that goes with the hobby.
I like the help wanted sign idea. :D
Craig.

Yup. I had one of those in the 70's. Probably still somewhere in the bottom of a dresser drawer.

I drove our 15 runabout to church this Sunday, but no one gave me a Model T belt buckle! :D

At least it is always easy to find it in the parking lot after the service is over. I usually try to leave as quickly as possible so that I don't have a string of cars leaving church behind me wanting to drive faster than 30-35 mph. Fortunately it is only about a mile before the road widens to two lanes in each direction.

It looks like you also arrived early as well and were practicing the new throttle, timing and clutch techniques discussed this week with a little braking added in!
