Interesting tailgate hardware, obviously hand-made by a competent blacksmith. What an art !! Wish this was on my pickup box. :lol:

Look at the rounded wood below the iron—that’s true craftsmanship also!

That is probably the nicest hardware I have seen for that. Wagon manufacturing surely refined the art. This is a version from a past post:

Your bed for the '13 is pretty darn nice.
The trailer we found near Bluedome in the mid '60s is surviving gracefully. It had a Model T running board for a tailgate.

I built this to pull with the Speedster in the early '70s. While the hardware isn't as nicely formed, it did the job. The hitch was a nice find and we build the bracket to bolt on. I guess it's as old now as the other one was when we found it. :lol:
