What a neat photo ! Thanks, Rich ! Although the coach was likely much newer than 1860, the backward look of 56 years was probably very apparent to the tourists in the Ford. Us kids on this forum can certainly relate to nearly 60 years of "progress".
What do you think ? The T is a '13 ? Can't see the doors !

Is that Elmira Gulch in the front passenger side of the T?

Definitely a fold forward windshield, so almost certainly a 1913 Ford.
Neat photo! Thanks guys.

'13 looks right to me too. I think this shows a '13 rear door.

I wonder if some kid got his dad to haul that stagecoach home to restore like we did with our Model T’s. Until computer games recently relegated kids to their parent’s basement, boys who enjoyed being active outdoors and enjoyed a challenge remained mostly the same from generation to generation. Instead of auto tools he would have needed a saw, drill, bolts & nuts, wood screws, spoke shave, planer and other various woodworking tools. Jim Patrick

That picture may have been used in a newspaper article comparing the modes of travel people used 50 years ago compared to the way folks travel today, 50 years later, in a Model T. Look at the shadow of the photographer in the foreground. Appears that he used a large Civil War era glass plate camera on a tripod. Those cameras took very clear pictures. Much better than the hand held Brownie box cameras of the day. Jim Patrick

It's great to see a 1913 the way it is supposed to be!
